Wesley Smith

Wesley Brian Smith, 46, Breckenridge, MN, died       May 24, 2007, near Kent, MN. His funeral will be held Tuesday, May 29, at 10:30 AM at the United Methodist Church, Fairmount, ND, with Pastor Paul Baker officiating. Visitation will be Monday, May 28, 4:00 PM to 7:30 PM, with a Prayer Service at 7:00 PM at Joseph Vertin & Sons Funeral Home, Breckenridge. There will also be visitation one hour prior to the funeral at the church.

Wesley is survived by:      His 2 sons: Joshua James Jacobson, Breckenridge, MN; and Matthew Brian Smith, Rutland, ND; His 2 step-daughters: Hilary (Shannon) Mehrer, Rutland, ND, and their sons, Jacob and Thomas; and Kaci (Phil) Millette, Hancock, MN, and their daughter, Cora; His 2 brothers: Richard (Donna) Smith, Valley City, ND; and James (Kay) Smith, Fairmount, ND; His sister: Joyce Anderson, Breckenridge, MN; Several nieces and nephews; His life long friend: Diane Smith, Rutland, ND.

He was preceded in death by: His parents: Raymond and Velma Smith; His brother: Raymond Smith Jr.; His sister: Mary

Wesley Brian Smith was born June 27, 1960 in Breckenridge, MN, the son of Raymond and Velma (Winnegge) Smith. He grew up and attended school in Dwight, ND and Wahpeton, ND and was employed by a bee-keeper in Dwight, before moving to Dickinson, ND.

In 1978, Wesley began working at Minn-Dak Farmers Cooperative in Wahpeton, where he was presently employed.

On November 29, 1984, Wesley was married to Diane Jacobson in Wahpeton. They made their home in Fairmount, ND.

Wesley enjoyed riding his Harley, listening to music and being with his friends and family.
