Quinton was supported by the love of his life, Laura RW Shaw, as they celebrated over 20 years of marriage together. After his retirement from the military in 1989, Quinton worked at Sears and FedEx while living in Fredericksburg, VA with his family. He eventually moved to Wahpeton to be closer to his eldest daughter, Amber.
