Mary Giroux

August 10, 1952 — May 12, 2016

Mary Giroux, 63, of Campbell, MN, passed away on Thursday, May 12, 2016, after a long and courageous battle with COPD. A Memorial Service to celebrate her life will be held at 3:00 PM, on Sunday, June 26, at Willow Creek Chapel in Wahpeton, ND. Pastor Dominick Warne will be officiating. The interment will be at Nordland Lutheran Cemetery near Rutland, ND. The Joseph Vertin and Sons Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.
Mary Williams was born in San Marcos, TX, on August 10, 1952, one of six children born to Howard and Bonnie (Henjun) Williams. Mary enjoyed motorcycle riding and puzzles, and her favorite place to be was anywhere her children were. She had an insatiable sweet tooth especially for chocolate and was very devoted to her dog, Gizmo. She drew courage for life through the family and friends who inspired her to finish strong and with no regrets.
Mary will be missed by her six children: Michael Strouf; Tina Fread (Michael Walberg) and her children, Shalsa Strouf, Harold "Butchie" Fread, and RandiLynn Richards; Ellric (Angela Mischke) Giroux and his children, Ellric Giroux, Marion Giroux, and Naveah Giroux; Joey (Brittany) Giroux, and his children, Dreyus, Maize, Tobias and Joey, Jr.; William "Billy" Giroux (Tiffany Moe) and his child, Bennet; Bonnie Fread (Austin Brady), and her children, Gary Allrich, Thomas Allrich, and the father of Bonnie's children, Jeff Allrich; Mary's siblings: Sherrie (Jeff) Fercho, Kevin Williams, Bert (Danielle)Williams and Jeff (Alice) Martin; nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, Howard and Bonnie; her son, Gary Fread (twin to Bonnie); and her brother, Robert Williams.
