MaLinda Coppin, 54, Wahpeton, ND, died Thursday, July 30, 2009 at St. Francis Healthcare Campus, Breckenridge , MN .


Her funeral will be Monday August 3, at 2:00 p.m. at Immanuel Lutheran Church in Wahpeton with Pastor Alan Werth officiating.

Visitation will be Monday, August 3, 2009 from 12:00 to 2:00 p.m. at Immanuel Lutheran Church , Wahpeton.

MaLinda was born December 6, 1954 in Breckenridge , MN , the daughter of Gordon and Sally (Meyer) Milbrandt. She grew up and attended school in Breckenridge, graduating in 1973. She furthered her education at St. Cloud School of Cosmetology.

On September 10, 1988, she married Myron L. Coppin in Hankinson , ND . She worked at St. Francis Nursing Home, 3M and Wahpeton Canvas Company.

MaLinda enjoyed observing nature, bird watching and spending time with her grandchildren.

She is survived by: Her daughter: Miranda Coppin, Wahpeton, ND; Her sister: Roxane (David) Tolle, Farmington, MN, and their son, Eric; Her brother: Randy Milbrandt, Wahpeton, ND; Her three step-sons: Myron II (Shirley) Coppin, and their children, Marcus, Brandon and Brittney; Jeremy (Trish) Coppin, and their children, David, Alex and Kitara; Lance Coppin and his daughter, Kali, Fort Campbell, KY; Her niece: Shannon (Darren) Privratsky and their son, Devin; Her former husband: Myron Coppin; Several nieces and nephews

She was preceded in death by: Her parents: Gordon and Sally Milbrandt; Her brothers: Doug Milbrandt and Paul Milbrandt; Her Godson: Ryan Meyer
