LeRoy LeNoue

LeRoy Eugene LeNoue, 66, of Breckenridge, MN, passed away at his residence on March 8, 2019. Visitation will be held from 12:00 p.m. to 1:00 p.m., Thursday, March 21, 2019, followed by the memorial service at 1:00 p.m., at Joseph Vertin and Sons Funeral Home, Breckenridge. Jeanne Putnam will be the celebrant. Burial will be held at a later date.

LeRoy was born in Dickinson, ND, on March 1, 1953, the son of Eugene and Elizabeth (Dolechek) LeNoue. He grew up and attended school at Miles City, MT, and later moved to Breckenridge where he worked for several farmers in the area. Most recently, he worked for Scott Miller near Tyler, ND. LeRoy enjoyed the solitude that accompanied his work in the fields. He wanted the best for his family and was very protective of his son and grandchildren. LeRoy was good at most sports in high school, but football was his favorite. When Adam was in high school, wrestling was his sport and from time to time LeRoy was there to watch him.  Even though LeRoy didn’t attend many of his grandson’s sporting events (Gavin’s wrestling matches, Braden’s basketball games, and Collin’s archery tournaments), he would keep up to date about the outcome of each event.

LeRoy is survived by his son, Adam LeNoue of Fargo, ND; grandchildren, Gavin, Braden, and Collin; brothers, Robert (Pamela) LeNoue of Memphis, TN, and Donald LeNoue of Hebron, ND; and half-sister, Gena LeNoue of Billings, MT. He was proceeded in death by his parents, Eugene and Elizabeth LeNoue.
