Larry Edwin Neuman was born on December 18, 1941, in Campbell, to Edwin and Ruth (Johnson) Neuman. He was raised in Campbell and graduated from Campbell High School in 1960. Upon graduating, Larry joined the United States Army, of which he served 5+ years in Germany and received a Letter of Commendation for his honorable service. He served in Vietnam for almost 10 months, and his unit was part of the building of Cam Rahn Bay. He was honorably discharged from service in 1966. Larry returned to Campbell and worked for Fieldcrest Fertilizer for 10 years. He was united in marriage to Darlene Church in 1967, and from this union had two sons, Larry and Christopher. In 1976, Larry moved to Boise, Idaho, and worked for Eddy’s Bakery in their shipping department, moving up to the title of Distribution Manager. Larry was united in marriage to Georgia Ross in 1977, and from this union had one son, Justin. Larry, Georgia, and Justin moved to Madison, Kansas, where he drove a transportation truck for Dolly Madison in Emporia, Kansas, for three years. He returned to Boise, Idaho, to work for Eddy’s as a fill-in driver, until his retirement in 2009. He eventually moved back to Campbell to care for his mother.

Larry enjoyed being a coach and assistant coach to his son, Justin’s, baseball teams, and was also active with his Cub Scout activities. He was passionate about truck driving and seeing the country. After his retirement, he was pleased to take care of his mother, and enjoyed trips to Kansas to visit friends and family. He was a member of Boise and Campbell Lions Club, and an avid Minnesota Twins and Vikings Fan. He was a very hard worker, and never a stranger to anyone.
