Justin Hoffman

Justin Oliver Hoffman, 31, died April 10, 2010 at his home in Campbell, MN. Funeral Services will be Wednesday, April 14, 2010 at 10:30 am., St. Mary’s Catholic Church, Breckenridge, MN, Father Kenneth Popp officiating. The visitation will be Tuesday, April 13, 2010 from 4:00 to 8:00 pm. with a prayer service at 7 pm. at Joseph Vertin & Sons Funeral Home, Breckenridge, MN. Interment is at St. Anthony’s Cemetery, Fairmont, ND.      Pallbearers: Cole Duncan, Adam Lewis, Chad Rotvold, Matt Krause, Mike Gunnarson, Stan Lien, Tony Morgan, and Rick Anderson.

Justin was born on July 28, 1978 to Cynthia and Bill Hoffman. He started school at St. Mary’s in Breckenridge, MN then finished elementary and high school in Campbell-Tintah, MN graduating in 1996. After graduation, Justin attended 2 years at NDSCS in Wahpeton, ND and achieved an Associates Degree in Liberal Arts. He then attended one year at Oral Roberts University in Oklahoma and one year at Moorhead State University, Moorhead, MN.

After college, Justin went to work as a security officer, traveling to many different sights for his job. He went on to become a route manager for Schwan’s Sales Enterprises in Breckenridge, MN. After suffering from a fall, his health began to fail and Justin started his courageous battle for his life.

Justin was an avid fisherman-whether it was ice fishing or enjoying a beautiful summer day- he logged many hours out on the lake. Some of his favorite memories of fishing were with his cousins Cole and Evan, his uncle Tim and his buddies Mike, Brad and Adam. He also enjoyed cruising in the Dodge, scouting for game with Mike and Cole. He was passionate about sports especially football and the Minnesota Vikings.

Family gatherings were especially important to Justin. He was very close to all his family and cherished the time he had with them. He will be forever missed.

Justin is survived by his parents Cynthia and Bill Hoffman, Campbell, MN; his sisters Alisha Hoffman, Fargo, ND; Crystal Hoffman, Fargo, ND; Brianne Hoffman (Adam Lewis), Fargo, ND; several aunts, uncles and cousins

Justin was preceded by his maternal grandparents Avelina and Martin Oliver Helgeson, Jr.; paternal grandparents Raymond and Clara Hoffman.
