Jeanette Glock, 75, of Coon Rapids, MN formerly of Breckenridge, MN passed away peacefully on December 3, 2012 surrounded by her family and her Christmas tree sparkling close by. The visitation is at St. Galls Catholic Church, Tintah, MN on Sunday, December 9 from 5 to 7:00PM with a prayer service at 7. The Funeral is at St. Gall's Catholic Church, Monday, December 10 at 11:00AM with a visitation one hour prior to the funeral. Father Mike Kellogg is officiating. The interment is at St. Gall's Cemetery.
Jeanette was born to Peter and Esther (Jensen) Jensen on November 2, 1937 in Breckenridge, MN where she grew up and attended school. After graduating from high school she attended college for nurses training. For many years, she worked compassionately as a licensed nurse and was a caregiver to many patients before retiring. She enjoyed travelling, especially to Norway to see her cousin Elsa Kristoffersen. No family gathering was complete without her delicious baked goods particularly, her cookies and homemade cakes. She found much satisfaction in sewing, looked forward to picnics with her family and treasured the time with her grandchildren.
Jeanette is survived by her loving husband, John; her daughters Shawna Lasiuk of Shafer, MN and Ann Weiss of Columbia Heights, MN; her sister Sonja (Gary) Jacobs of Apple Valley, MN; her brother Ed Jensen of Fargo, ND; She is also survived by her grandchildren Leah, Sarah, Anna and Matthew, all who loved their Grandma so very much. Other survivors include many cousins (special cousin, Elsa Kristoffersen in Norway), nieces, nephews and many friends.
Jeanette is preceded in death by her parents, Peter and Esther Jensen; her brother Willard Jensen; and her son-in-law Richard Lasiuk.
