Diane Meyer, 59, Wahpeton, ND, died October 2, 2007 at St. Francis Healthcare Campus, Breckenridge, MN. Her funeral will be held on Saturday, October 6, 2007 at 11:00 AM at St. Mary's Catholic Church, Breckenridge, MN, with Fr. Kenneth Popp officiating.

Visitation will be Friday, October 5, 2007, from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM with a Prayer Service at 7:00 PM at Joseph Vertin & Sons Funeral Home, Breckenridge, MN. There will also be visitation Saturday morning at the funeral home beginning at 10:00 AM until the time of the funeral. Interment will be at St. Anthony's Catholic Cemetery, Fairmount, ND.

Diane is survived by: Her sisters: Karen (Elvin) Hager, New River, AZ: and Corrine (Ron) Woolcott, St. Francis, MN; Her 3 brothers: Charles (Carol) Meyer, Breckenridge, MN; Pete (JoAnne) Meyer, Ottertail, MN; Thomas (Barb) Meyer, Minneapolis, MN; Her sister-in-law: JoAnn Meyer; Her brother-in-law: Arnold Kalb; and many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by: Her parents: Herbert and Gertrude (Hingst) Meyer; Her brothers: Howard M. Meyer and Arven F. Meyer; Her sisters: Mary Lou Meyer in infancy, Sally Milbrandt, Angie Kalb, Helen Borg; Her sister-in-law: Magdalene Meyer; Her brother-in-law: Gordon Milbrandt

Diane Fay Meyer was born October 30, 1947, in Breckenridge, MN, the daughter of Herbert and Gertrude (Hingst) Meyer. She grew up in Breckenridge and attended Breckenridge Public School.

Following her formal education, Diane moved to Minneapolis, MN, where she did babysitting for her sister and later worked at Bryn Maur Nursing Center. In 1973, she returned to Breckenridge and was employed at the Wahpeton Health Care Center. Diane moved to Wahpeton, ND in 1997, and continued working until 2002.

Diane was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church in Breckenridge, MN. She enjoyed traveling, visiting, family gatherings, and spending time with her friend, Mark.
