Curtis Neubauer

Curt Neubauer, 65, Campbell, MN passed away on Sunday, September 21, 2008 at Meritcare Hospital , Fargo , ND . F uneral services will be on Wednesday, September 24, 2008 at 10:30 AM at St. Gall’s Catholic Church, Tintah , MN , with Father Arlie Sowada and Father Andrew Marthaler officiating. Visitation will be on Tuesday, September 23, 2008 from 4 pm to 7 pm with a Prayer Service at 7 pm at St. Gall’s Catholic Church, Tintah , MN . There will also be visitation one hour prior to the funeral at the church. I nterment will be at St. Mary’s Catholic Cemetery , Breckenridge , MN .

Curtis was born on August 10, 1943 to Raymond and Minnie (Hornstine) Neubauer in Fergus Falls , MN . He grew up on the family farm east of Campbell , MN . Curt attended school in Campbell and graduated from Campbell High School in 1961. He then attended Alex Vo-Tech in Alexandria , MN for diesel mechanics.

On January 25, 1962 Curt was united in marriage to Florence Wichael at St. Gall’s Catholic Church in Tintah , MN . He worked for various employers around the Campbell area. In 1974, Curt began working for Minn-Dak Farmers Cooperative in the transportation division and was currently in the Supervisor position.

Curt was a member of St. Gall ’s Catholic Church and was a past member of the Campbell Fire Department and the Campbell Lions Club. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, gardening and driving his pickup around Campbell and visiting with residents. He especially enjoyed the time he spent with his children and grandchildren

Curt is survived by his wife, Florence Neubauer, Campbell, MN; his two daughters, Rhonda Rasmussen, New Hope, MN and her sons Joseph and Nicholas, Trinda (Jim) Reiff, Breckenridge, MN and their children, Jordan and Tyler; his mother, Minnie Neubauer, Wendell, MN; his brothers and sisters, Waiva (Tom) Murray, Battle Lake, MN, Brian (Mary Ann) Neubauer, Breckenridge, MN; Bruce Neubauer, Kerrville, TX, Terry (Janet) Neubauer, Wendell, MN, Tracy Wahl, Horace, ND; his mother-in-law, Doris Wichael, Breckenridge, MN; and several nieces and nephews.



He was preceded in death by his father, Ray Neubauer and his father-in-law, Albert Wichael.
