Bruce Carter Fronning

Bruce Carter Fronning, age 71, of Breckenridge, MN, passed away at his residence on Friday, June 21, 2024. A memorial service in his honor will be held at 2 p.m., Friday, June 28, 2024, with a visitation one hour prior to the service at Joseph Vertin and Sons Funeral Home, Breckenridge. Peggy Rezac will be officiating the service. Arrangements have been entrusted to Joseph Vertin and Sons Funeral Home. 

Bruce Carter Fronning was born on November 19, 1952, at Lake Region Hospital in Fergus Falls, MN, to Alfred and Mila Fronning. He grew up on a farm four miles south of Fergus Falls, MN, in Buse Township. He was baptized at Bethlehem Lutheran Church. He attended country school through the 6th grade. He graduated from Fergus Falls High School in 1970. Then he attended Moorhead Technical School for accounting. He worked various jobs in accounting. He was an accountant for Minn-Dak Farmers Cooperative in Wahpeton from 1974-2012. On March 21, 1981, Bruce married Lori Marie Wold at Grace Lutheran Church in Erhard, MN. They lived all 43 years on the same farm together. 

Bruce is survived by his loving wife of 43 years, Lori; son, Nathan (Jill) Fronning; daughter, Ashley (William) Trigg; grandchildren Zoey, Zander Fronning, Xavior Wichmann, and Hailey Fronning; siblings, Janelle Gibble, Mary Bamberg, and Brian Fronning; and numerous nieces and nephews. 

He is preceded in death by his parents, Alfred and Mila; and son, David Joseph Fronning.
