Alan Cribb

Alan Cribb, 47, of Breckenridge , MN , died May 11, 2009 at MeritCare Hospital in Fargo , ND .

His funeral will be held on Friday, May 15, at 1:00 p.m. at Breckenridge Lutheran Church , Breckenridge, with Pastor Mark Manning officiating.

Visitation is one hour prior to the funeral at the church.

Alan James Cribb was born August 7, 1961 in Norfolk , Virginia , the son of James and Florence (Lokken) Cribb. At a young age he moved with his family to San Diego , CA and attended school there for two years before moving to Enderlin , ND , where he graduated from high school in 1980. Alan furthered his education at NDSCS in Wahpeton, ND, and worked for Tom Haugrud custom combining. He has also been employed at Cenex in Breckenridge, Sigco, Farmer’s Co-op Elevator in Campbell , MN , Northern Lights Trucking, RDO, Mitchell Farms and Min-Dak Farmer’s Co-op. He was an all around handy man.

Alan was married to Jodie K. Maasjo on July 23, 1982 at Lisbon , ND . They made their home and raised their two sons in Breckenridge.

Alan was a member of Breckenridge Lutheran Church . He enjoyed watching and attending his sons’ sports, fishing, boating, and snowmobiling. He was a big Minnesota Vikings and Twins fan and also enjoyed NASCAR. He especially enjoyed being with his wife and sons.

He is survived by his wife: Jodie, Breckenridge, MN; his two sons: Aaron Cribb and fiance’ Lindsay Cizek, Fargo, ND; and Eric Cribb, Breckenridge, MN; his brothers: Michael (Darcy) Cribb, Dent, MN; and Robert (Rita) Cribb, Jamestown, ND; his sisters: Kathy Daves (Skip), Seattle, WA; and Sheryl Heier, FL; his mother and father-in-law: Darrell and Judy Maasjo, Madison, MN; his sister-in-law: Robin Cooper (Art Hogness), Lisbon, ND; his brother-in-law: Darwin (Melissa) Maasjo, Minot, ND; Several nieces and nephews and great-nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents: James and Florence Cribb.
